With class 1 durability (Ash) or class 2 (Pine), thermally modified wood provides a beautiful, durable alternative to tropical hardwoods and chemically treated timber. Thermal modification significantly improves wood's resistance to mould and rot and provides excellent stability, resulting in boards that stay straight, even without coating (though we recommend coating with Cutek®Extreme wood protection oil to minimise end checking and increase the life of your project). Uncoated wood will quickly develop a beautiful silver patina. To keep the original colour, Cutek oil with colourtone must be used.

Ash and pine cladding is available in 20mm thickness and with end-matching to minimise waste. C6 profiles allow for hidden fastening (over a water-proof substrate, as the hidden fastening system is not water proof).
