With class 1 durability (Ash) or class 2 (Pine), thermally modified wood provides a beautiful, durable alternative to tropical hardwoods and chemically treated timber. Thermal modification significantly improves wood's resistance to mould and rot and provides excellent stability, resulting in boards that stay straight, even without coating (though coating with Cutek®Extreme wood protection oil is recommended to minimise end checking and increase the life of your project). Uncoated wood will quickly develop a beautiful silver patina. To keep the rich colour, Cutek oil with colourtone must be used.

Ash and pine batten profiles allow for hidden fastening (over a water-proof substrate, as the hidden fastening system is not water proof).
